Stapu is hopscotch: toss a small marker into numbered squares and hop through the course to retrieve it.
Throw
click or SpaceTap, or drag and let goThe ring is where the stone lands. Point it at your square and throw. It starts on 1; the far squares you have to reach for.
Aim
↑↓←→ or WASDDragSteers the ring up the court and across. Be quick: the longer {she} stands with {her} arm cocked, the more {her} hand wanders, and the ring shows it.
Hop
SpaceTap{She} always hops to the next square {she} may land in, jumping the stone's square. Tap when {her} wobble is through centre: the sway {she} has at that moment carries into the landing.
Aim a hop
Hold Space + ←→Hold and slideMoves the landing marker across the square. Standing crouched on one leg, {she} wobbles faster, so don't linger.
Split squares
When the marker shows two rings, the next square is 3·4 or 6·7 and {she} lands with both feet down, one in each box. The middle line lights up: hop when the two rings sit one each side of it, and the marker turns gold to say so. If the stone sits in one of the pair, {she} lands on one foot in the other.
Pick up
Space or clickTapIn the square before the stone {she} bends and {her} hand sweeps. Press when the hand ring is inside the dashed ring around the stone; a press just after it passes still counts.
Faults
A foot on a line, landing in the stone's square, toppling on one leg, a throw off its square. Nothing is lost; you throw for the same number again.
